Morgan Jones, wife of patient Chase Jones
My husband cut his elbow while remodeling our house and we knew he would need stitches. We debated where to go because you never know what ER wait times will be like, but we decided to stay local so we wouldn’t have to worry about childcare.
We expected to be there for an hour or two, but the entire experience only took about half an hour. From the check-in desk to the nurses and Dr. Diab, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Nurse Andy was especially kind and informative. Even though it was a holiday weekend, we received expedited service and never felt rushed. I know working in an ER must be stressful, but they made it feel like they had all the time in the world for us. From start to finish, it was a fabulous experience.

Bailey White
Registered Nurse, UAMS IDHI Stroke Facilitator
This month, we’re proud to spotlight Bailey White, RN, from the Southwest Arkansas Regional Medical Center team! Celebrating six years with the hospital this December, Bailey recently stepped into a new role as UAMS IDHI Stroke Facilitator, supporting quality stroke care in our community. When asked what she enjoys most about her job, Bailey says it’s the people, especially the opportunity to care for patients in her hometown. Outside of work, Bailey enjoys spending time with her six-year-old twin boys and getting away to the lake or beach whenever she can.
